About San Marcos, Belize

San Marcos is a peaceful Mayan village in the Toledo district of southern Belize. A quiet rural community, with hospitable people. Although it is just off the Southern Highway it is surrounded by lush rain forests with limited electricity and running water. The water is supplied by wells but is unsafe to drink.
